MoneyBond ("we," "us," or "our") operates the AstroVeda mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

By using AstroVeda, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Name: Used to personalize your experience within the App.
• Date of Birth: Used to calculate your Vedic birth chart, planetary positions, and horoscope readings.
• Time of Birth: Used for accurate ascendant and planetary position calculations.
• Place of Birth: Used to determine geographic coordinates for astrological calculations.
• Partner's Birth Details: If you use the compatibility feature, you may enter another person's name, date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for app functionality and crash reporting.
• Usage Data: Features accessed, session duration, and interaction patterns to improve the App experience.
• Purchase Information: Subscription status and transaction records processed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat.

1.3 Information from Third-Party Services

• Google Gemini AI: We send your birth chart data and questions to Google's Gemini AI service to generate personalized horoscope readings, compatibility analyses, and responses to your queries. This data is sent securely and is subject to Google's privacy policy.
• ProKerala API: We send your birth details (date, time, and coordinates) to ProKerala's Vedic astrology API to calculate planetary positions and astrological data.
• RevenueCat: Manages subscription and purchase data. RevenueCat receives anonymized user identifiers and purchase receipts.
• Google AdMob: If you are a free-tier user, AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve advertisements. This is subject to Google's advertising privacy policy.
• Open-Meteo: We use this service to convert city names to geographic coordinates. Only the city search query is sent.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate personalized Vedic astrology readings and horoscopes based on your birth chart.
• Provide AI-powered astrological guidance through the chat feature.
• Calculate love compatibility between two birth charts.
• Provide dream interpretation, wealth analysis, gemstone recommendations, numerology, and panchang data.
• Process and manage your subscription and purchases.
• Display relevant advertisements to free-tier users.
• Send daily reminder notifications if you have opted in.
• Improve, maintain, and optimize the App.
• Respond to your support inquiries.

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage

Your personal data (name, birth details, daily usage counts, notification preferences) is stored locally on your device using encrypted local storage (AsyncStorage). This data is not transmitted to our servers.

3.2 Third-Party Processing

When you use features that require AI or astrological calculations, your birth data is transmitted securely (via HTTPS) to third-party APIs (Google Gemini, ProKerala) for processing. We do not store this data on any server we operate.

3.3 Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your personal information, including:

• All API communications use HTTPS encryption.
• API keys and credentials are securely managed.
• No personal data is stored on our servers.
• Local data can be cleared at any time through the App's settings.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only with:

• Google (Gemini AI): To generate AI-powered astrological readings. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• ProKerala: To calculate Vedic astrological data. Subject to ProKerala's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: To manage subscriptions and purchases. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob: To display advertisements to free-tier users. Subject to Google's Advertising Privacy Policy.
• Apple: Purchase receipts are validated through Apple's App Store systems.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

5. Your Rights and Choices

5.1 Access and Deletion

You can view all your stored data within the App's Profile section. You can delete all your data at any time by using the "Edit Birth Details" option in the Profile tab, which clears your profile and cached data from the device.

5.2 Notifications

You can enable or disable daily reminder notifications through the "Daily Reminders" toggle in the Profile tab. You can also manage notification permissions through your device's Settings.

5.3 Advertising

Premium subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience. Free-tier users can upgrade at any time to remove advertisements.

5.4 Data Portability

Since all personal data is stored locally on your device, your data travels with your device. No account creation or cloud sync is required.

6. Children's Privacy

AstroVeda is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@moneybond.app and we will take steps to remove such information.

7. International Users

AstroVeda is available globally. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your data to third-party services that may operate in different jurisdictions. All data transfers are conducted securely via HTTPS.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

9. Subscriptions and Payments

All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information such as credit card numbers. Subscription management and billing are handled entirely by Apple. You can manage or cancel your subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

10. Data Retention

Your data is stored locally on your device for as long as you use the App. When you reset your data through the App or uninstall the App, all locally stored data is removed. Third-party services may retain anonymized or aggregated data according to their own retention policies.
